"The room was clean; however, the carpets needed a deep cleaning, as there were visible wine and coffee stains. Also, although our floor was supposed to be non-smoking, there was still a noticeable smell of smoke, even in the room. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were nice and helpful."

"We recently stayed at saint sophia hotel for 5 days and we had a great time this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul city across from Hagia Sophia mosque and three minutes walk to the blue mosque the staff was amazing the room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. "This is a great place to stay in Istanbul. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. The location is superb close to all of the major sites in Sultanhamet. The only weakness was that the Wi-Fi blocked my VPN but that is typical of many places in Turkey due to the authoritarian government. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again."

"Extremely lovely little gem in the heart of old town, Istanbul. A beautifully designed hotel around a well lit courtyard. The staff is very courteous, the breakfast buffet is extensive and the location of this hotel is picture perfect being a five minute walk from the great mosques, the grand bazaar and tons of shopping and restaurants. Although the hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance and upkeep is amazing and it looks brand new. We had a suite that was large sized and perfect for our family."
