"This is the second time we have stayed at Ameristar in Blackhawk and it has not disappointed!! The rooms are spacious and there is ample amenities! Sitting in the hot tub outside was a favorite of ours! Will go again!"

"This is a case of never judging a book by it's cover. It doesn't look like much when you pull in ir even when you first go into the room. It was clean but stepping outside is magical. Clear Creek is right behind the hotel. We had a small balcony and could watch rafters and canoes going down the creek. We loved it. Then there is a screen door out to the balcony, so we had the sound of the creek the whole time. The beds are SO CONFORTABLE. All of us slept well, which rarely happens when sleeping in hotels. The shower has great water pressure and gets HOT. There is a small convience store right in front of the hotel that makes quick runs easy. It is in the middle of town and getting places was easy. I would highly recommend staying here and try to get a second floor creek view. "
