"Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. "Great place to stay, great breakfast, would definitely stay again."

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."

"All round good facilities, parking, cleanliness and food"

"Staff very rude"

"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"

"The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."
