"We loved the place. Amazing views of the mountains. Close to skiing and the town of Salida. Salida DT has lots of restaurants, hiking and is a pretty little town. The house was a nice place to stay, clean and well decorated. WiFi is fast, tv is a projector and has streaming. The master bedroom was large with a king bed that was comfy. Having our

"Home was better than pictures in VRBO. Everything we needed was there including a gas grill(we cooked our main meals) Clean, no pet odors, relaxing, great views, quiet location. Only thing that could be improved is the mattress in the room facing the deck/pond. Thank you for sharing your place with us, we We will be back!"

"This cabin was located at a lower elevation than other cabins we viewed. Perfect for a couples get away. Appliances were large and functioned well. Used the crock pot and ate at the cabin. Never ate out! We enjoyed visiting this part of Colorado which made this cabin a great location. The history of the cabin is awesome decor and the framed reminders of what NOT to do at the cabin was very tasteful. We used the Fire-pit every night and enjoyed the wilderness location. Only 1.3 miles of unpaved...

were always a little more complicated, but you can just walk outside for a hike, go fishing, and enjoy the outdoors with your

without having to go to the mountains or to a public campgrounds/put-in near the river. Plus there really isn't any compromise. The kitchen is fantastic, the beds are nice, the patio is great. All around, highly recommend."
