What a beautiful home. We had a an easy and enjoyable stay. The big deck overlooking the 17th tee at Apple Valley is a highlight.

Group Weekend Getaway

We stayed for two nights with a group of friends just to relax and get away from the city for a little while. The house was beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect!

The house was perfect for our family Christmas, right down to the Christmas tree! Plenty of room for a little privacy with great open areas for our entire family. The coffee bar was a welcome surprise and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped! Not to mention the view ❤️

Family Weekend

This is the second year we have rented this house for a family getaway. We had a wonderful time and the weather cooperated so we could enjoy the backyard, deck and grill. The house was perfect for our three families. We plan on staying again next year.

Great VRBO

The only issue we had was an empty propane tank and Julia got it replaced pronto and our cookout was saved! Very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely rent it again in the future.

Family Weekend Get- Away

This is the second year my family has stayed in this home and we enjoyed it immensely. The weather was wonderful so we were able to enjoy the deck, outdoor grill and back yard. The bedrooms were perfect for our three families and there was plenty of room for our grandchildren to play inside. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had before our stay. Unexpected

The home is spacious and the back windows are beautiful. Be prepared for the hosts to be watching you at any time of day and sending messages via their management company if they see things they disapprove of. You can only receive contact from a management company and not the hosts. The side door does not lock and is broken, even though they provide multiple copies of the same instructions to lock it. Just be aware that anyone could get in very easily. The home alarm system frequently requests input of information but there are no instructions on what to do with it. There were cobwebs and dust throughout the home. The downstairs living area is very cold and the fireplace did not work. The downstairs bedrooms were very warm with no windows. The main level bathroom door locks do not actually work, and the shower leaks onto the floor. There is only enough hot water for one shower as well. And definitely bring your own tissues. It was a bit of a rough stay.

A perfect spot close to Kenyon

We were one of four families who spent the weekend at Apple Valley while our sons played soccer in the NCAA soccer tournament. The location was perfect, the house was perfect, the weekend was perfect! The layout of the house allowed us to gather with friends and families and celebrate a wonderful season. Could not have been a better location and house. Highly highly recommend.

Wonderful for large family!

Highly recommend for large families and close proximity to golf course and lake. We had 4 teens and 3 couples (10 total). On the first floor there is a large master bedroom and also a bonus room that you could use as a play room or extra bedroom if you bring an air mattress. Upstairs bedroom is spacious and lower level bedrooms are smaller but nice, plus the spacious living areas and porches meant everyone had space to enjoy the time. The lake is 5 minutes away. Tip: there were food trucks so find out ahead of time and you can have an easy hot meal on the beach! We headed to Pleasant Hill Lake about 20 minutes away and it was great for boat rental and tubing. Owner was very responsive to a minor issue we had. Highly recommend!

Great home away from home

House was very spacious! VERY CLEAN. Loved the kitchen and deck overlooking a beautiful golf course. Make yourself a cup of coffee (to our surprise tasty coffee was provided) and sit in the enclosed porch or out on the deck. We used this location for a wedding at the Beverly Mansion. (28 min drive away) Just a few "complaints" the lighting in the bathrooms aren't that bright and the upstairs bedroom is a loft. Also, misleading on the amount of people it sleeps comfortably. There are 3 adult beds/bedrooms.

Family Weekend Getaway

My family had a wonderful time spending the weekend together here. The room setup was perfect for my two daughters' families, my husband and myself. The weather was not nice enough to venture outside with little ones but the space inside the house was perfect for them to play and run around. The pool table, televisions and bookshelf of games provided entertainment for everyone. We hope to make this a yearly event.
