"This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine which us well-cooked, plentiful, and served by well-mannered and good-humoured staff."

"Best “citybreak” stay of our lives! Everything was absolutely perfect and there’s nothing we’d change, except our length of stay - if we could, we’d still be there, but not sure the hosts would want squatters on their land! Animal therapy, amazing hosts, Mother Nature herself looking after you … bird songs, deers, donkeys, pigs, goats, cats, and anything in between! If you’re not used to glamping, don’t bother leaving nasty reviews. Says more about you than the place. If you don’t love nature, again…don’t bother, it’ll be lost on you. Amanda, Barry, Ray, loved meeting you all and thank you for having us. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Sutton Staithe Hotel. It looks over the Broads and you can see the changing of the boats from day to day which is really nice. The breakfasts were great and the staff were all friendly. They have a lovely bar and outside area. The only small thing I can say is that not all the rooms have been redecorated and ours looked a little tired, but the amenities for the room were good and did not affect our happiness with the room. Would definitely come here again."
