"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wroxham. The location is unbeatable, right on the river, and the warm welcome from the friendly staff set the tone for our visit. The food was excellent, and the chef went out of their way to cater for my wife’s dairy-free needs. Wendy, the owner, was charming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Contrary to another review we’d read, we found the wine and drinks list reasonably priced for such a prime spot. The attention to detail in the interior design was impressive, with many unique items available in the on-site shop. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed along with 3 friends for 4 nights and we all thought the hotel was beautiful from the outside and its setting right next to the river is fantastic. Parts of the hotel are a little tired and the unmodernised bedrooms need a facelift although theyre perfectly comfortable. Breakfast is good but the addition of fruit and yoghurts would give more variety for those who dont want the cooked option. All the staff are polite and friendly and I would recomment this hotel for a quiet, relaxing stay."

"Steve (landlord) what a great and warm welcome. Couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in the “oak” room and what a room. The “double”shower was absolutely amazing and so spacious Everything inside the room was well kept and clean !! The stag is a lovely country pub with a restaurant inside too and definitely did not disappoint!!! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. A small menu which always a great sign as the food would be great and it definitely was !! The staff was quick and couldn’t do enough for you either. "
