"Sandy Lodge was a perfect stay for us and our besties. Perfectly located between the town and harbour, we had no need to move the cars after our arrival. The house is quirky, bright, airy and sun- filled. The lovely garden with two places to sit has wonderful views across the matshes to the common and Southwold. The beds were really comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. One note ( and this is fussiness - lined curtains would be great in the bedrooms as we were woken early by the bright sunshine (world’s smallest violin in operation!) and nicer pillows. Otherwise perfect and we would certainly stay again. Thank you."

"We recently stayed at the Cannons with our daughter and 20 month old grand daughter. I chose it because of its open plan layout with no stairs once in the apartment and not too many doors. It turned out to be a perfect space for all of us. The bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a cot and having a separate bath and shower room meant that all needs were catered for. It is in a fabulous location with the seafront at the bottom of the road, the town centre a short walk away , a good kiddies playground close by and we managed to find street parking right outside the front door.I would recommend this property. "

"Just what we wanted. Perfect little cosy cottage within walking distance of Southwold. We had everything we needed . Comfy beds and we loved the little log burner . Would definitely book again . "

"My husband, three year old daughter and I had a lovely stay at the lighthouse. Perfect location, 5 minute walking distance to town and a stones throw from the beach. The apartment is really modern, a quiet and relaxing space for a long weekend. My daughter loved the bunk beds! Could have been a little cleaner - quite dusty and lots of cobwebs. Sheets and towels were very fresh and clean but there were a few stains on most of them so could be time to replace. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again "

"The apartment is lovely comfortable and well equipped. It is near the sea and the centre of town. You can park outside without fear of charges. Southwold is charming and friendly with great offering of places for foodies. I recommend an Adnams tour. We did the distillery one but you prefer beer, Adnams is delicious. We spent most of time walking, visiting things in and out of town and coming and going from the property. It is a very good place to stay and relax. It gets great reviews because it deserves it. "

"Two - bed in bedroom is very high.we found it very hard as we two old ladies,toilet is very low so again hard to use.The door to get into the apartment is hard too turn ,we had to ask for help at times.we enjoyed our stay but for us it spoiled our holiday a bit."
