"If you want to stay in a small characterful boutique hotel in a very pleasant area of Cheltenham then look no further. The hotel has a very welcoming feel and all members of staff we met were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really lovely lounge area and if we were staying longer, I would have definitely used it as a quiet reading spot, likewise the small courtyard area adjacent to the restaurant. "Grand Victorian hotel, showing its age a bit but full of character. Very good location in the centre of Cheltenham. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner."

"Parking was easy, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Hotel decor was in keeping with the age of the property. Attention to detail could have been greater. Toiletries were missing and there were no hand towels. More teabags would have been useful.. More information about facilities would have been helpful-we were both unaware that we could have had drinks on the terrace."

"The room we stayed in was just right size and comfy, with fast Wi-Fi and everything we need. The bathroom was okay, but the shower area only had a curtain to keep things in, which wasn’t the best. The breakfast was great, with lots of hot food to choose from, and you could even order from the kitchen. The cleaning could use a bit more work, though—there were visible stains on the toilet and heavy stains on the tea kettle."

"Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street "

"Parking was very good. We DID NOT STAY there due to the fact it is a SHARED TOILETS! We booked alternative accommodation at great expense! I REPORTED THIS TO YOU ON SUNDAY 29th March. The room was misold due advertised for holiday use and it's only an over priced Doss house. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!"
