"We loved the location and felt very much at home in a comfortable home. Particularly liked the armchair in the window overlooking the reservoir. We were walking 7 “Ethels” in the Dark Peak and all were easily accessible from Martha’s Cottage so ideal for our purposes. Pie Night at the Pickled Pheasant was also a nice discovery!"

"This place is worth every penny. I was very very impressed with the attention to the smallest of details in every corner, the tastefully done kitchen in every room and overall ambience. Will be coming back again and again. "
