"I really liked this hotel. It's what I would call a hidden gem, because I had no idea it was there. The building is clean, housekeeping is spot on, the staff are attentive, and able to offer advice on almost everything. "The room was not properly cleaned and we had to clear hairballs and dust. We cleaned the room ourselves before unpacking. The shower flooded the bathroom and it had obviously done this before as the bathroom door was rotten - bits of wood coming out. Mould around the edges and the towels were stained. Also had to request a second set of towels which were given to us in the bar and not put in our room. Disappointing for a large chain. Would not recommend staying here."

"Amazingly close to Finsbury park events but expensive stay for what it is. The hotel is clean, lovely staff, convenient but i could of taken my family to the Lakes for a week for the cost. Brekkie ok but lots of easy options ie tinned toms, orange squash and pre bowled tinned fruit. Staff lovely and ive had much worse but not a standout meal to start the day."
