"The pictures and website don't give this place justice, it was one of the most amazing and relaxing experiences I've had. I had a group of 4 and we booked a room with a private hot spring and foot bath. The room was traditional with the shoji doors and windows, everyone at the hotel is given yukata robes and sandals to wear which were comfortable and fun. We opted for the meals in the restaurant, I loved everything they served and the staff was so professional and kind. I recommend you eat everything with an open mind, it was delectable. We paid extra to visit the mountainside hot spring, it was a small outdoor walk and my favorite part. It's big enough for a group but I went with just my husband and it was a vibe. It was rainy and the sun was setting but I still loved it. I highly recommend staying here, and shout-out to the shuttle guy for driving everyone back and forth seamlessly from the train station "

"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all. "Our crew enjoyed a delightful time in the Kyoto farmhouse. The hosts were most accommodating, Hideo-San is a man of many talents, and his wife is compassionate and very kind. The house itself had the necessary items for cooking and living comfortably. There is a very sweet café, which features kitties and delicious food just a few footsteps away. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will certainly reach out and reconnect with these sweet landlords. "
