"Very enjoyable stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the evening meal and the food quality was excellent and the service great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). "Convenient city centre location, but quiet inside hotel, apart from a nearby clock tower which chimes every 15 minutes and can be heard from inside. Rooftop restaurant and bar with lovely views. Modern room with high ceilings, AC and fridge in room. Room 4/5 because bathroom was very small, no coffee machine, robe or slippers (as you usually get in other hotels in this price range)."
"My friends and I stayed here for 1 night and we enjoyed our stay. The location is good in terms of getting into the city. There is street parking available. Unfortunately the hob ignition was not working but the host was helpful and directed us to the lighter. Rooms are a good size and clean. The garden gate did not lock, so that needed to be fixed. But overall we had an enjoyable stay. The host is very responsive and communication is great!"
