"We loved everything about this hotel, the location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was bright and spacious and the restaurant food and Bar areas were lovely. We will definitely be booking again!"

"Looks better on the outside than the inside, as it's a dated property. Reflected in the lower than average price however. No major complaints however."

"Everything from checking in dining and drinking and the overnight stay and breakfast was brilliant the staff were amazing would highly recommend to others"

"We made a very last minute booking to the hotel and arrived just 20 minutes later. Kimberley on reception was amazing, helping us with a smooth check in and a really warm welcome. She got us a table in the restaurant too where we had a lovely dinner and great breakfast the next morning. The room in this old historical inn was very clean and comfy. Low doors and winding staircases add to the historial fun. The gardens are very well kept and pretty and we enjoyed exploring them after breakfast."

"Clean comfortable quiet room on the first floor. Staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Great service."

"Worst bed I've slept on in a long time. Really not recommended for anyone. "

"Wonderful 1 night stay in Canterbury. Good walkable distance to the town centre. Lovely room, staff and breakfast"

"We had a two bedroom cottage again this time because we brought our dog - it's fantastic for that reason but the standard of cleanliness was not great tim"

"Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning."

"Great location, great breakfast, great staff and clean rooms - lovely weekend stay!"

"Great place to stay. Everything was perfect"

"Not worth the money for such small rooms. Prettier villages without horrendous traffic. Would not recommend."
