"Maddingley Hall is a lovely place to stay given its history but especially its magnificent grounds. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the amenities. There is a very nice bar with a good atmosphere. Food is OK but with a limited selection. The breakfast selection is good but don't get there too late otherwise the selection is limited. Staff were adequate but need some training to look after their guests better."

"Such a lovely welcome.. quiet and clean. Lovely friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Free breakfast of toast, croissants , and wide selection of cereal was lovely and just enough to start the day. The only thing for us was the bed was a bit hard but that’s personal choice. We will definitely stay again."

"Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,...

"A warm welcome from Sam. Beautiful decor, warm and clean, specialty teas and milk for the fridge in a glass bottle. Lovely garden with manicured lawns, loved the scent of the lavender hedge. Hot delicious breakfast in the bright and airy breakfast room, the wall to ceiling windows gave a great view of the garden. I could go on! I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Fiona."

"You're above a pub, but right in the city centre, for real cheap. It's highly convenient, clean bathrooms and bedding, but be warned, it's above a pub. Its a bit noisy until late, but that's expected. Can't complain really. We left some headphones and keys behind but they were very kind to ship them back for us! Would recommend if you're in for a couple of nights and just need a bed. Gud price"

Property located away from major roads surrounded by stunning gardens makes for a peaceful nights sleep.
