Nice place, comfortable bed and relaxed feel. Was in area for a gig and would definitely stay again if in the area. locals were really friendly and welcoming too
This pub and b&b is simply perfect! The staff and service excellent and the hygiene standards high. Thank you Shell and Bert and manager and bar staff and whole team
Would recommend staying here as the staff are really helpful & the food was very good. Drinks were fairly priced & cocktails very good. Everything worked in the rooms & shower was very good. Good parking & bus stops close by for Cambridge.
I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are converted stables, which are very quaint. The room had everything you needed including a mini fridge.
The pillows were amazing, had a good nights sleep.
The only negative is that the heating was not on when I arrived, so the room was very cold. Ate in the restaurant and by the time I returned it was warm
Excellent weekend stay , friendly hosts , cosy comfortable room, good shower room, nothing to dislike. Pub very quaint, and really good food in the restaurant, also save onsite parking would definitely use again
Lovely place to stay, room was modern and very clean. Car parking included and restaurant within the main building. The only thing missing is breakfast! This has been my favourite place to stay when visiting Cambridge as it’s only a 15 minute commute to get into the city. Highly recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
A nice pub and the service was friendly enough.
The room was also nice, warm and bed very comfortable.
Unfortunately I wasnt able to use the free wifi as there was no wifi password to be found anywhere in my room, and by the time I arrived and settled down, the pub and all staff had closed/gone home.
Very comfortable bed. A warmer bathroom would have been nice. Very clean. A nice quiet location just outside Cambridge.
A “pub with rooms” - good food and beer.

The bed was two singles pushed together and one was soft the other hard. There was no breakfast…I’ve never stayed at a pub before that didn’t offer breakfast. There was a big green light on by the door which illuminated the room when you turned the lights off. The radiator made an electrical buzzing noise which kept waking me up…rhe staff were nice at least!
We had a good experience. It ticked the boxes we required.
Very comfortable bed, could park right outside our chalet . Quiet, good nights sleep. Plentiful tea & coffee supplied. Mini fridge. Fan provided & heating available. There is a little play area which was neglected and that’s a shame . Outside areas need tidying up. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on service or quality. We used this accommodation as a base for a family gathering and stayed 2 nights.
Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided, which helped.
Lovely, cosy country-style "gastro-pub" with 4 rooms - converted stables across the car park from the restaurant. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and furnished to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean. Although the room was a little small it was perfectly adequate for a night stopover whilst visiting cambridge. We used the park and ride which was really convenient. Milton was a sleepy friendly little residential village with some nice looking pubs and large tesco a mile away. We ate in the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious, beautiful traditional decor and a warm welcome. Breakfast was not available. My only quarm was that i had to drink instant coffee in the morning - i think for full hospitality there should be a cafetierre in the room and some ground coffee especially as there was no breakfast i wouldve liked to have started the day with a decent coffee. I would never drink nescafe at home so at £100 a night i would like a proper coffee, i would say this would only cost the business 50p per person for the coffee max and a fiver for a cafetteiere for each of the 4 rooms. Id say as well the brewers inn looks better in real life than the pictures online. Thanks for having us.
Despite the hotel description stating breakfast available for a surcharge, this was not the case. On arrival we advised the host that we wanted breakfast on both mornings of our Aug bank holiday weekend. He stated reluctantly that if we really needed it he could provide a continental option, but the pub is closed in the mornings untill 11am so no staff are available. This was also evident when checking out when keys had to be left in a key box outside the closed pub by 11am. The pub closed at 8pm on the Sunday evening so we couldn't spend the evening there. We dined elswhere as the online menu did not suit us but we later saw the menu in the pub was better. If the online version was up to date the pub would probably have benefitted from our custom. Room was clean and comfortable but very dark with the only natural light from a single vertical glass panel about 10 inches wide running down the side of the door. Pub location was very good, closevto Milton/Cambridge park and ride.
