"I was working at BRU airport during my stay so the apartment suited my needs fine, may not suit vacation tourists as much. Communication with Ewa prior to my visit was excellent. Zaventem town has plenty of restaurants. The studio had everything I needed. I did have to reboot the wifi. Bus 272 and 282 to/from airport worked out well. Get off the bus at Zaventem train station. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"Had a great time. Came in specifically for the Teddy Swims Concert at TRIX Zaal - the how was great. People in the area were extremely helpful. Stayed off the tourist grid pretty much and saw a lot of beautiful things. Owner has a guidelines book for guests that was absolutely awesome."

Received email about the stay, I replied not happy. They said someone would contact me, no contact. Treacherous stairway to upstairs bathroom. "

"This is not suitable property for a normal traveler. The property is poorly converted house. The owner had let someone stay in one of the rooms in the rented apartment that I had booked while I was there. I did feel safe to go out or even use the shower as there was someone else there who I did not know. It was like a bad flophouse."
