"This historic hotel was very well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were so nice, and my room was amazing. The only reason I gave the four was because there wasn’t really anything to do in the area."

The friendly people you meet & talk with staying there at the hotel enjoying free continental breakfast from all different states & areas was exceptionally enjoyable. Wonderful staff & customers make this our top destination when in the Elkins Wv area!!!"

"Very clean. Loved sitting out back on the patio. We got there earlier then we thought we would, got in our room right away. Very nice breakfast, was not just cold cereal and donuts. Was very impress with our stay. We will be going back."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was exactly as advertised, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Having coffee on the deck each morning with the incredible view and sound of the creek was heaven. We were so happy that we were able to bring our dogs. They enjoyed their time as much as we did. Cheryl is an excellent host, attentive and very understanding. We are planning an Autumn visit to enjoy the leaves. Highly recommend this property."

"We arrived late, slept, woke up early and got back on the road. We were only there a few hours so there isn’t much for me to say. The bed was comfortable. We only stopped to sleep because it started raining and we were on a motorcycle. They did let me park my bike under the carpet in front of the office out of the rain so that was nice. "

"This hotel is incredibly clean. We have been on a two week road trip changing hotels each night and this hotel was incredibly clean. Easily the cleanest we have stayed at. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The pool and hot tub were also very clean and well maintained. The room was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was great. I liked that it lasted longer than most hotel breakfasts bc we like to sleep in. The breakfast area was spotless. Another perk was check out was at noon. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one staying in the area because it’s pretty rare to find a hotel this clean. "

"The breakfast was outstanding. There was plenty variety of food choices. The prepared food was fresh and hot. All the food offered was frequently replenished and never ran out. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the service excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again."
