"staff was excellent I had the pleasure of meeting sata at the front desk she was very helpful on checking in, greeted us with a beautiful smile and attitude. She is a A-1 staff member. Now the only thing I can say is the elevators need improvement."

"We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The service from start to finish was amazing. The only issue was that our fridge wasn’t keeping things cold. (We didn’t tell the front desk until we were leaving). The staff was very apologetic. The location was convenient for the theater, Times Square as well as the subway! "

"We arrived at hotel at 11:45 p.m., did not actually get the keys to our room until 1:30 a.m. Due to a computer glitch, the hotel was overbooked. The woman at the front desk was under a lot of pressure from irate reservation-holders, but valiantly tried to find rooms for everyone. Those booked for more than one day had to go to other hotels, which the New Yorker management found and paid for. Because our reservation was only for one night, we lucked out and got the last available room. It was also the best room in the hotel, a suite with a private balcony on the 38th floor — maybe they were saving that room in case a celebrity showed up at the last-minute. Our accommodations were fantastic, and they gave us complimentary breakfast and let us check out late (3 p.m.) so we could get some sleep. Clearly they felt bad about the chaos at check-in, but they more than made up for it."

"Feels like this was a steal given the location of the hotel to Times Square and the fact that it was booked this pretty much right before the trip took place. It was only a few minutes of walking to Times Square and stations. The street itself is quiet; many of the businesses across the street seemed to be out-of-business. The staff were incredibly kind, the room was neat, and the hotel very clean. My friend and I were only there for the weekend, so we did not make use of the hotel's restaurant. "
