"Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when down there next."

"Friendly small hotel. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good too."

"Staff very rude"

"Great place to stay, great breakfast, would definitely stay again."

"For the price can't complain as you also get free parking. The room was clean and tidy with clear instructions as to how to access the room key. The restaurant is dog friendly also and food delicious. Just bear in mind it can be noisy in the room until the restaurant closes but not a massive issue."

"Staff were very kind and considerate during the stay. Unfortunately, the rooms leaked a lot of sound. We are aware we’d likely hear the road during our stay due to proximity, but we hadn’t considered we might hear every move and sound from the surrounding rooms. "Great hotel Lovely pub"

"Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. "Short walk in to town"

Bed was comfy and there was a really useful folder of info in the room, the owner had included a few suggested walks around the property which was great and we did one of them just to stretch our legs. Ample parking, and the property was very well kept, no issues with noise or anything from the farm we were attached to. Loved the fact the owner offered proper milk for the rooms...

"Exactly the location we needed, came with 9.0 rating and added breakfast for £1.50 each. Room was compact but fresh and functional, had a good nights sleep and refreshing shower in the morning. Breakfast hit the spot and GF option available. It’s a super overnighter but wouldn’t stay for a longer stay due to its position on edge of a major road."

"I had a lovely stay and nothing was too much bother for Sue. Lots of choice for breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Even had a scarecrow trail whilst I was there with an amazing entry at the guesthouse."
