New 3-bedroom lake front cabin with hot tub - 18 miles to Itasca State Park

"The host met us during check-in and check-out and once during our stay. We appreciated his accessibility and desire to help ensure a 5-star experience. I noted in one review prior to our arrival someone asked for a wagon to carry things down to the dock. Sure enough, a wagon was available for us when we arrived. We didn't use the wagon but appreciated the owners' responsiveness to feedback. The only improvement I might suggest is flatter pillows. I slept with a towel because the pillows were a little too fluffy for this stomach sleeper. Nonetheless, the trip will be remembered for the luxury lake-side living it was. Thank you!"

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin on Long Lost Lake for our anniversary, and it was truly the perfect getaway! When the hosts found out we were celebrating, they even surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which made our stay feel extra special.The cabin is beautifully designed and decorated with a modern rustic feel, gorgeous woodwork, and all the amenities we needed. We especially loved relaxing on the screened-in porch with the hot tub and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.Having use of the pontoon was such a great bonus! One of our hosts even took us out for a quick tour and showed us some of the best fishing spots on the lake. Long Lost Lake is so quiet and serene—it truly feels like an escape from everything.The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This was such a peaceful and memorable anniversary getaway, and one we will never forget. We would absolutely love to come back!"

"Excellent place to stay, just a few minutes from the north entrance to the park, as described . Very close to the headwaters and the Lake Itasca swimming beach. The host is lovely. Very comfy and cozy, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Amazing view - wrap around porch outstanding! Listening to loons and water breathtaking! Cabin could use some updates and the kitchen more utensils, but overall good way to get in touch with nature! Great fishing for all ages! Furnitures also was well worn but still worked! The walk to the dock and water can be a bit tricky with steep path and loose stone steps. The hot tub and sauna are the best! Healing at its finest! Come prepared to relax and enjoy the cabin and outdoors!"

"We traveled with a family of 8. This place was perfect. The host family, whom I guess are the owners, were amazing we had difficulties getting into the property and with some direction we got right in. Certainly has the cabin feel. I planned to stay one night in the gazebo but I did not make it out there. We would recommend staying here. Great location for fishing and side by side riding. House was stocked with all the right stuff. The family spent the evenings on the deck or in the sauna.Had the pleasure of having morning coffee, lunch and dinner with a deer and her fawn that would frequent the property. Another surprise visit from a porcupine."
