"Plenty of parking, lovely room. Friendly staff. Only downside.... I'm gluten free and they didn't have any GF cereal but i was able to have a full english breakfast and they had GF bread and sausages. Nice touch in the room was biscuits, but again i had stated on the booking that i was Gf so it would have been a nice to have left a packet of GF biscuits. Only 12 minutes drive from main area of Matlock town. "

"Nice, clearly marked newly resurfaced car park, well lit and easy access to the building. The room was spotless and the bed really comfy. Good breakfast in the morning and friendly people doing the doings. What more could anybody ask?!"

"This is a hidden gem ,💎 what a fabulous week we have had Heather is the best what a lovely warm welcome 🤗 the barn conversion is stunning, spotless, homely & top of the range conversion no expense spares with this beautiful Barn . The hot tub is excellent , gardens enclosed for safety for our furbaby & the views brilliant . Peaceful location with everything on your doorstep , Chatsworth house is a must & Matlock Bath. The Peak District is stunning we will be booking with Heather very soon again . Thank you for such a wonderful holiday ."

"The instructions to gain entrance to house where clear and precise. Everything you need was there very clean and tidy. Great suggestions on places to eat. A lovely cottage in a great location. It was an ideal base for me to go cycling. Definitely would stay again to use for a base to get out on my bike."

"The house itself is stunning, the location is so quiet and so beautiful. Amazing views across to the windmill and down a little track so feels private. Village is lovely, friendly people and easy access to lots of local outings, =Chatsworth House worth the drive. Honesty bar and greeting gift were a lovely touch. The Black Boy recommendation was well-deserved, fab food.Massive bedrooms with comfy beds, entrance boot room ideal for getting in/out the house and all the junk! Gorgeous decorating, open space and social areas are great, everyone loved the indoor and outdoor games. Spot on communication and nice clear instructions to get there, the sign on the fence really helped us spot it. Fake grass meant we could use the garden even when it rained. Juglans barn is quite new to rental so we suggested a few modifications to the owner and they were open and welcomed our suggestions. When we stayed the main bedroom upstairs didn't have blinds or a door to make the most of the view (it's sort of an open suite of rooms set up), it didn't cause us any issues but we did suggest some form of privacy/blocking out the light might be useful. It does get quite warm upstairs but not unbearable if you open windows. I'd really recommend Juglans Barn."
