I have stayed at Elegant Suites for many years now and if anything it continues to improve. The facilities including restaurant, gym, swimming pool and spa are uniformly excellent. From the US, it’s expensive to get there, but once there you don’t need a lot to vacation. For US dollars, everything is inexpensive. $50 goes a long way. Rich history there. Some folk are mean like the young men just up to no good. Everyone else ok.
Good fun with an amazingly vibrant feel. You can’t ignore the fact that Vietnam is an emerging market and have to accept it’s a bit crazy on the roads but the people are lovely.
The tour we took to Nin Bin was the best part and far away one of the coolest things we did in Vietnam.
Hanoi is a great destination....
This was our first stop in Vietnam and it felt great to immediately get immersed into the culture. Great place to visit once in your lifetime.
Compared to Cambodia, other country on this trip, i was turned off by the propaganda that layers everything here.
