"Loved this hotel, Ashley at the front desk was amazing and the breakfast attendant was super sweet! The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the amenities were great. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a stain in the carpet by the desk and spider web above the hanging lamp in the corner. Also the housekeeper didn’t make our beds only took the trash and replaced the towels. Great location for our visit to Lake Tahoe!"

"The room was spic N span! The staff was so helpful, courteous and accommodating. Due to no air conditioning & opening the window, the ceiling fan was just not enough for cooling. I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. Besides excellent lodging accommodations, the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - the Stonefly offers the best fine dining. For drinks and simple meals, the Cutthroat Restaurant offers very good food items. We experienced a great get-away for two nights in Markleeville and I highly recommend it to all travelers of all ages."

"The house is perfect for a large group! Plenty of space to spread out, lots of bathrooms. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, theater and pool table! The kitchen was stocked well and we were able to cook anything we wanted. Every room has a tv if people want some quiet time away from the group! Host was very responsive as well. This house would be perfect for a winter family vacation too!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:CleanSpaciousHas plenty of kitchenware for usageHas plenty of beddingGreat host response timeBeautiful exterior yardCons that were not deducted from score but noted:There were coffee machines but zero coffee There's a lot of plants and antique furniture so if you have toddlers or a crazy uncle...There is a washer and dryer but no detergent.There are exterior cameras everywhere. There is NO AC. But with the windows and doors open, it was manageable with all the plug in fans that were provided.Overall, would book again! But only when it's not 90+ degrees outside."
