"We had a great stay. Staff was amazing and so welcoming. Nice breakfast in the morning and a great view from our room. The rooftop terrace was small but relaxing. We would stay again!"

"Overall this was a not so good experience, even for staying one night. Building was very poorly maintained, multiple “out of service” signs and management had poor customer service. Top floor had trash cans to catch water from leaking roof, and the equipment room was extraordinarily loud. Room had a poor presentation as far as how bed was made, and towel arrangements. Sheets seemed like they were not changed. There was a lot of body hair laying on the fitted sheet and pillow cases. Will never stay at this location again, possibly even motel 6s."

"This was my first time at Catalina Island, we chose to stay at the Bellanca Hotel and it did not disappoint. Great location right next to shops and restaurants. Had a great water views. The rooms were nice, very clean and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here. We will be back again. "

"The place has a bright and very colorful feel yet is a place of peace away from the outside world. Avalon can be a pretty busy place when the cruise ships come in, then you walk up a short alley and forget where you are. "

"The staff were all very nice. The rooms were nice too and I liked the bunk bed for the kids. The AC worked great! I did not like having to climb 3 flights of stairs just to get to our room each day. No elevators. Also, things close down early on the island and there's no pool or jacuzzi to wind down at the end of the evening. There is no lobby either. I asked the staff for a microwave to warm up some food for my son, and he showed me to a small staff area with a dirty microwave. I had to walk down the street to get a plastic spoon from a nearby restaurant. But the location was amazing!!! Everything is within walking distance which is so helpful."
