Great stay! The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient with easy access to everything. Would definitely stay here again!
Room was clean and spacious, ADA request was granted. Loved our balcony. I recommend updating the AC unit. It is very loud, I had to wear ear plugs and can still hear the AC. The staff was friendly. I had trouble contacting a taxi to return to the ferry and asked the staff to contact one for me. I loved that they are able to store your luggage. Great location.
The Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the included Continental Breakfast was well-stocked. Good location toward the northern end of Avalon, so not in a noisy or very busy area, yet easy walking to all of Avalon.
Our room was amazing! We stayed on the third floor and loved having a balcony. There was also a cute courtyard adjacent to the hotel that added to the overall charm.
We had dinner at the restaurant, M, and everything was incredible. The espresso martinis were the best, and dinner was absolutely amazing.
There were three couples on this trip, and we all loved the hotel. I 100% recommend it! I had a wonderful birthday weekend and can’t wait to come back.
They had Champagne in our room for our 40th anniversary, chocolates and turndown every night. Friendly and responsive staff. Helped set up a taxi for day of check out as well as recommended a great place for massages and other fun activities. Already planning our next trip back.
Nice hotel right off Crescent Ave, which is the main road coming into Avalon from the ferry. Our room had a balcony which was nice to open up to the ocean breezes. It was nice to be within walking distance of everything.
The staff were nice and helpful. The place underwent a renovation a few years ago so the place is still in pretty decent condition. Modern shower and vanity. Cutesy island-ish room.
I don't know why people are raving about the breakfast, but it's just a little more than basic continental. The Catalina Coffee & Cookie company right outside the hotel is really good though. Great cold brew and breakfast sandwiches/burritos. Get there early, though, because there is always a line after 10AM.
Property was very clean. But they need to do something about their TV. We wanted to watch a game and the TV was very pixilated. Call for help and the technician looked at it and left. No explanation. Called the front desk and they said it was the server. But no one else complained. There was no wind nor rain for the service to go in and out. Would not stay there again. Front desk wasn't very helpful.
All staff members were very friendly and helpful. However, Vanessa at the reception desk is an absolute sweetheart. She is friendly and helpful to everyone no matter what time you check in or out. Also the hotel is smack in the middle of a cute small shopping center.
