We were shown impeccable hospitality and made to feel welcomed and extremely comfortable. The chocolate tour was over the top!"

As an asthmatic, the first hike up to my room was a bit wild, but it was totally worth the view from my hammock. This location is truly something special."

"We stayed at this resort by chance for one night due to starting our vacation early because of winter weather in the states. I prefer more authentic Costa Rican hotels/resorts vs a chain hotel close to the airport. While the taxi ride was more expensive, I felt it was worth it. It seemed secluded, was quiet, the rooms were extremely clean, there were thermal pools as well as a nice pool area and the included breakfast was definitely a plus! The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced! We had the pleasure of talking with Julian, who was a joy. I always love to learn about different cultures and people from other countries. Would highly recommend this place if you're considering this area. I would love to go back and spend a little more time in this area. My only suggestion is to add a golf cart or something to take people and their luggages to their room. We were at the very back of the resort and it was a bit of a walk with our luggage. All in all a great stay!"
