"Imagine a stunning, incredibly comfortable, well thought out private home in the jungle, with a expansive viewing deck overlooking your own personal wildlife sanctuary...front row seats to occasional visits from howler and white face monkeys, daily visits from iguanas, fly-bys from beautiful paired macaws, not to mention a plethora of insects that may cause your heart to stop briefly until you just realize "don't touch it", and marvel at their size! Now, imagine looking just past all of this and seeing the massive ocean expanse with crashing waves that literally vibrate you to sleep at night as they hit the shore below. Imagine your mornings swinging in a hammock with a smooth Costa Rican coffee blend listening to the jungle waking up(well, it really never sleeps but it has volumes and varieties!); days/evenings spent lounging in the luxurious spa and pool, tempered to account for the hot, humid days or if it's cooler, sitting around the firetable. Not sure what more could be added to the multitude of amazing reviews that accurately sum up the bliss that we enjoyed for 2 weeks at Paul's "resort"! Our first week we barely even left the house, and we are adventure people! All past reviews are so accurate and helpful in terms of house layout and ammenities. Paul and Alejandro were amazing communicating! Do yourself a favor, stop searching other homes and book this one!! We've booked many rental homes over the years and this one is, by far, our favorite!"

"The Villa was as advertised with spectacular views of the jungle and ocean off in the distance. The rooms had A/C and kitchen was very well stocked. Very close to a major supermarket and many towns with excellent restaurants so you have the option of eating at home or going out. Everything was clean and in working order and the infinity pool was great. The property itself is very secure (large fence encloses the living area) and private (neighbors are hundreds of meters away).Going to sleep and waking to the sounds of the jungle was an otherworldly experience. Doug and Janet are very responsive, helpful and laid back. The concierge service offered via Juli was very helpful as well and she helped us plan our activities and stay. It's very well located and there is a ton to do in the area. You do need a 4x4 capable rental in Costa Rica and would suggest tire insurance.Overall, fantastic, smooth experience and would highly recommend to anyone"

"We were given incorrect coordinates by either VBRO or Vacasa. We didn’t arrive until it was dark.Fortunately a worker living on the property helped us and learned that we were booked at another property managed by Vacasa. We were planning to sleep in our car.Once we found the correct location, it was lovely."

"Robert and Whit were incredibly kind hosts and offered great suggestions to make our stay most enjoyable. The restaurants they recommended did not disappoint! We really loved walking to town for meals via the beach when tide was low - a nostalgic feeling we’ll never forget. There are too many highlights to list, but the wildlife and scenery top our memories. However, the very best part of our stay is the most incredible beach, right out the back door (we learned this is quite uncommon for the area)! It’s stunning and we saw only a few people each day - it felt like our own private beach in paradise!"

"Our family enjoyed a great week at Cabilltos Del Mar Sur Villa in Dominical! The home was exactly as advertised online. We arrived late Sunday night to a very clean home ready for us. We were very thankful for the AC wall units in each bedroom bc the house was very humid on arrival but in a matter of minutes each room cooled down and stayed that way throughout the week. They were a great escape after long days out in the sun! We also loved having a private pool at the villa and seeing our Iguana friend each day was a treat! We booked all of our excursions through You Get Here group that manages the homes and each trip exceeded our expectations! All of the YGH staff were wonderful to work with - Very responsive!The town of Dominical is a quiet town just about a mile walk down the beach. Great restaurant options in walking distance! We also traveled to Quepos and Uvita to explore the area - Each way 30 min travel! And speaking of beach, to have private access to this beautiful beach was amazing, not only to watch the sunrises and sunsets, but also to play in the warm ocean water! Our girls LOVED this!Travel to Villa: We rented a car from San Jose to drive to Dominical - it’s about a 3.5 hour drive along a windy two lane road, so prepare for a long travel day if you drive. Thank you for the hospitality this week! "

"We arrived to an unexpected fabulous Balinese treehouse. We loved that we had privacy and that our 13 year old had their own casita as well. This would be an ideal place to stay for two couples or a small family but with an older child like us who needs some space. Restaurants close by and the most beautiful beaches!"
