"The cabin was clean and the views from the balcony were amazing. The beds were comfortable, but the rugs on the wooden floor were incredibly slippery. It was not fully what we were expecting based on the description of the room we booked - the description said there would be aircon, microwave and TV, however these were not present in the room. The fans were just about enough to keep us cool overnight, however were not enough for during the day. The bathroom was fine - but be aware it does not have the screen/mesh that the bedroom does, and the walls do not meet the ceiling, so bugs/mosquitoes are able to get in - not ideal if mosquitoes find you as tasty as they find me. There also was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door, so no way to fully close it quietly or to lock it from the inside. It would have been nice to have had directions on how to find the hotel directly from the beach beforehand rather than walking along the road. The hotel is in a good location for the beach and there is a supermarket and restaurants close by. "

"The cabina had an extra extraordinary view. We loved that the bedrooms were closed off and did have air conditioning, but that the rest of the unit was completely open The house cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning every morning I had laundry done, and it was very reasonably priced and done very well The unit is within walking distance to almost everything but best of all the beach is right there!"

"The host was very helpful to us during our stay. He booked excursions for us which were wonderful. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and drive us to the house. He also gave us rides up and down the hill. There are two tours up a steep hill to the house. One is a road which requires 4WD to get up and the other is a hiking trail through the jungle. We are in our mid-sixties and in good shape, so we could hike the trail. It was about 15 minutes for us to the beach and Drake Bay village where there are a few stores and restaurants. It’s a beautiful home overlooking the water. Andre, the host was great! "
