"The staff were very helpful and hotel was very clean but the air con didn't really work. Only the left hand corner produced any air. Room was hot even with the fan provided. Not good enough for the price paid. The cold water always ran hot for a couple of minutes. Which I thought was strange but keep in mind if you stay there."

"Absolutely awful. Filthy, dusty, dated and smelly in the hallway. We couldn’t find another hotel to move to so had to stay, I didn’t get into the bed but covered it and the pillows with my own towels. The door wouldn’t lock so we had to wedge a chair underneath the handle. Run down and dilapidated. Bathroom disgraceful and mouldy. "There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?"

"Staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay. Room was impeccably clean and breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was staff were sometimes a little slow getting to us to order cooked breakfast meaning we had to miss out on the one day because we had an impatient toddler. We also had dinner on our first night and it was lush."

"Made very welcome by the staff. Breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately there was no aircon and my room faced the main road. With the window open I had constant road noise and had to keep a noisy fan on all night. No one’s fault there is a heat wave but the choice between a hot airless room or a hot noisy room made for a poor night’s sleep"
