The Ely Hotel by Chef and Brewer Collection

"The room was very clean and well appointed. The only drawback was that there was no lounge for seating. If you didn’t want to sit in your room, which was small but adequate, you had to go to the restaurant. This was not ideal for travellers spending several days there. The restaurant and staff were very good. The food delicious and well prepared. Parking was fine, there was plenty for residents. I must give a shout out to the staff we encountered at the Ely. They were exceptional, especially Gabriella, who served our breakfast as well a cleaning our room."
Lakeside International Hotel

"The bar and breakfast staff were very nice. On arrival, we asked to change rooms as the family room allocated was next to the air conditioning units which were very noisy when you had the windows open. There was also a slip where all the sea gulls were fighting over the contents - so very noisy. Reception staff kindly moved us to a smaller room which was still sizeable and much quieter for getting a good night’s sleep. Kids loved the lake out the back and was nice to have a drink outside overlooking the water. We would return as hotel had a nice feel to it. Our kids had a proper bed to sleep in rather than a futon style chair (which often happens in family rooms) and we enjoyed the breakfast."

"I had a double bed room at the back of St George’s Lodge and to be honest I couldn’t fault it. A small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee Provisions were provided and replenished the next day. Gun safe in the wardrobe is also very handy. The room was clean , warm had hot water and a bath/shower. Over all I had a very enjoyable stay. I dealt with Nick by phone before I got there and he was very helpful. Compliments to the team there."
