"The kitchen was well equipped, had a big stove, 3 sinks, plenty of dishes, a separate coffee area with another huge sink. The castle gave each couple plenty of room for privacy and yet had space to gather, talk, play games....it is very spacious. It was hard to pick where to meet up because everywhere was so nice. As a family of 18 the big dining room worked perfectly for us. I loved setting the long table, cooking dinner and looking down the table with the family all so happy. The pool was wonderful although it was not real close it was fun. It was hard to leave the castle! "

Breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring fresh local ingredients, homemade pastries, and the most delicious Italian coffee you could ask for. We also enjoyed an amazing dinner at the villa — flavorful, beautifully presented, and full of regional variety. Everything from the wine selection to the dessert was thoughtfully curated. The staff deserves special mention — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. With its mix of rustic elegance, modern comforts, and authentic Tuscan charm, Villa Le Barone is a true gem. We can’t wait to return. "

"Great location in the heart Chianti. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was perfect. very comfortable bed and very quiet location. Nice terrace and pool but unfortunately the weather wasnt warm enough for us to enjoy the pool. There is a dirt road to get to the apartment but very easy to navigate so dont be worried about it. Thank you Babette, we hope to have the pleasure of going back sometime."
