"Our family of 6 stayed at the Coral Sands Resort for a family holiday/special event. Beautiful clean accommodation situated just out of Cairns on the way to Port Douglas. Lovely walkways to the pool area. Staff helpful and lovely to deal with. The location is amazing! Beautiful views of the beach and a 60sec walk to beautiful restaurants and COFFEE! We will definitely be coming back. "

"My wife and l and our 2 teenage boys stayed in the ground floor penthouse near the main pool. Our stay was a welcoming one right from from the beginning at check in. The room was spacious and clean had had all the facilities you would expect in an apartment. Room service daily was an unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay here again as it was the perfect location to all the dining and activities that we needed during our stay."

"The unit was a studio and nice size, very clean. We enjoyed using the grill for dinner too. The owners were helpful, friendly and helped with our transportation needs. John even drove us to the Reef Terminal one morning. It's a bit over a mile to the main part of the Esplanade and harbor. We did walk it several times. Otherwise it was about $9 US each way for a taxi."

"The owners thought of special things like salt and pepper available, all kitchen items, clothes horse as not everyone wants to use the dryer. Easy walking to shops. Maybe have a map in unit for those late check ins as the map we got from reception after 3 days there was great. Maybe leave a note to warn rentals about leaving food/honey/sugar out, as ants around."

"Clean enough - there was dust on top of fridge and under bed (it moved). Overall it was clean and good location. Didn’t appreciate we had to take the garbage out and put in the chute - wish it was known. Furniture was dated could use an upgrade. Better coffee instead of just powdered. Maybe a bottled waters when people arrive. And WiFi range was not great in bedroom. I would still recommend this - we were staying in some 5 star properties before getting here - hence my expectation was higher....
