"Dear Management / Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally log a serious complaint and request a full refund regarding my two-night stay in Room 624 at the Hampton by Hilton Rochdale (October 15 to October 17, 2026). I paid a total of £163 for the room, plus additional parking charges of £5 per day. "Ok… reviews are not that good .. and I can understand, however the hotel seems in somewhat of a transition period ; (an old hospital conversion it seems with period architecture) ….work being done and plaster foot prints all through the dining hall when we arrived . "Convenient location. 10 minute walk into the city centre, Corn Exchange, Arndale Centre etc 20 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly. Very quiet room despite facing a very busy road."

"Perfect location for Coop live . Very clean through out ,comfortable room ,slept amazingly well. Well equipped with mini bar and snacks.coffee machine, kettle ,hairdryer and clothes steamer. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Staff welcoming and helpful. Shame we never got chance to use the gym as we were only there for 1 night after seeing The Strokes and coop live . We would definitely stay here again."

"A welcomed change to your typical hotel stay. Will be back."

"This was an amazing stay with wonderful staff and good ambience. Young people or under 50s will really enjoy it. I was not able to maximise my enjoyment because there was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room. Though there is complimentary unlimited drinks in the foyer. You have to come down from your room. That's a No no in my sixties... otherwise I would be back ten times and over"

"The staff was amazing Really impressed with the room and how big it was I came with my friends Very clean I would definitely stay there again"

"Staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Great food and reasonably priced. Would definitely book again."

"Staff were wonderful"

"Everything about the hotel was fabulous. All staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. Good location. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of food and drinks. Plenty of shops and bars around the hotel. Convenient location for the coop live arena and the Etihad Stadium. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you to everyone who looked after us during our stay."
