"They were very nice and did accommodate early check in but did not inform in my call of remodel to lobby. Offered cancellation on arrival but we had no time bc of work by then. We had to enter rear, nonissue but there was no plastic hung so super dusty. Hot breakfast cancelled for grab/go. Coffee, water and all in hall next to the work so not dust free area. Pool wasn’t ready despite being in the dates advertised to be open. Elevator super rough looking with foam taped to wall, carpet old, rooms need update. Sink leaked a little, no vent in bathroom so it was so hot and humid it was impossible to dry off. Bed was comfortable but AC did not work. Offered to change rooms bc they said probably needed batteries and tech wasn’t there. We didn’t switch bc it was midnight or after and had kids with us and we looked at reviews that said none of the fixes worked for them so we just tried to go to sleep and be done with it rather than deal with a frustrating pack up and move and still possibly be hot. Again the staff was very friendly but there’s no way whoever cleaned didn’t know it was hot. It was registering at 75. I have stayed at much better for the price."

"It was okay for one overnight at a fair price , but probably would not want to be here more than one night . Bathroom had two damp hand towels in it when we went in . The bathtub had no way to plug the tub to run water so I had to try and keep the water in by using a hand towel where the drain is . When I advised the front desk , he went in the back and got me a what looked like new rubber piece to fit over the drain . He acted like they go through a lot of them , which told me it is a common issue that the tub drains have no way to keep the water in . He tried saying must be people steal the mechanism that usually lifts to plug the water. That is clearly not the case . That piece in the tub looks undisturbed. It just looks like it never had the correct piece on it to begin with ,,, so instead they hand out a rubber thing at the front desk if you complain about the tub not working properly . I’m pretty sure if I went there a month from now , it would not be fixed . Also , no fan in the bathroom which is pretty old school . The property was clean , and friendly service , but definitely has some maintenance issues ."

"The hotel was perfectly located by Opry and enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the hotel, as well as surrounding places to eat. Walking distance to the Gaylord. The pool area and sitting area were nice, but the bar was not open by the pool. The room was a bit dark. It needs more light. It was an interior room, but besides that it was nice just an older hotel, but clean and nice."
