"My husband and I spent five nights in mid-June at Royal West Indies Resort. The best thing about the resort was the proximity to the beach. We stayed in building 1 with an oceanfront room. When we left our room we were at the beach within 2 minutes.This stretch of Grace Bay Beach is perfect! There were plenty of loungers with umbrellas every day. The towels we were given at the entry to the beach were big and plush. The sand, the water… Everything was clean and gorgeous! Our room had a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The room itself was a bit dated; the furniture showed some wear and it would benefit from a bit of work. But that did not bother us one bit. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The TV had a number of streaming services available. The resort staff was fabulous… the Front Desk staff, the man who took our bags to our room, the fellows tending the grounds, the people we got the towels from at the beach, housekeeping… everyone was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Sherman who was a joy to see every day. We did not rent a car on the island so the desk staff called us a taxi whenever we needed it. We never had to wait long. We were within walking distance of Graceway Gourmet but it was not a nice walk with arms full of groceries. I would much rather be at this location than closer to more shopping/restaurants, as I think the proximity to the beach was not as nice further down. Highly recommended! We hope to return!"

"beautiful property! the room is always kept clean and looks so luxurious. very comfortable and spacious, can’t complain about the room at all. the pools and the beach were amazing. very quiet and clean outside as well. the water at the beach was crystal clear. food on property is good too, the coffee is tasty. there’s a convenience store on the property, tennis court and bike rentals. everything is walking distance from the hotel as well. the hotel staff is very friendly and very welcoming. made the stay more enjoyable <3"

"My husband and I did a quick getaway and stayed at the Villa Del Mar. We had a wonderful stay, rooms were spacious yet cozy and clean. It felt like a mini apartment on the beach. It was a quick 3 min walk to the beach (which was located across the street thru another hotel). Karon the beach attendant for Villa Del Mar was outstanding he set up our beach chairs every morning and gave us a prime spot. Beaches were the most beautiful we have ever seen and we travel a lot. Hotel staff were amazing gave us advice and assistance when needed. We ate breakfast and lunch across the street at the Grill (ask for Junie) she was the most outstanding waitress and the food was amazing. Bonus if you like hot sauce Junie has her own island hot sauce which is to die for. Freddy the bartender was also spectacular for our daily drinks at the beach. We had a wonderful time and would def stay at the villa Del Mar again. Thank you to their entire staff for making our stay an unforgettable one!!"
