"My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter in NYC. Great location and within walking distance of subway stations, restaurants, and Bryant Park. We enjoyed the library themed rooms and all the books! We did take advantage of the free continental breakfast on the second floor each morning with coffee, pastries, and light snacks which was very nice. We also liked Bookmarks, the rooftop lounge, to relax after a long day of walking and exploring NYC. The only complaint we had was...

"What a great place - even with the renovation! The staff were outstanding. Whether checking in, heading out, helping with something or in the Celon, the staff could not have been more impressive. We are definitely coming back!"

"very nice and accommodating, in house laundry and bar"

"Professional and friendly staff. Hotel is conveniently located - close to time square and Bryant park. Restaurant was a great option after a long day."

"I was really looking forward to staying at Kixby, especially given its excellent reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was a little disappointing. First, although the bathroom was clean, the grout was visibly worn and had become quite dark in places. This made the bathroom look less clean than it actually was and detracted from the overall impression of the room. "While the room was clean and the bed super comfortable, I felt that the lobby was looking a little run down, especially the flooring."

"Loved this hotel! Great esthetic, extremely clean and the rooms aren’t tiny. Convenient location to grand central - literally a 3 min walk. Would stay again!"

"Wonderful hotel, an easy walk from Grand Central Station. Spacious and clean room (except the pillows were too big/overstuffed). Clean bathroom. Friendly staff, though they didn't respond to my email question but it was sent through Expedia so maybe they didn't receive it?? Breakfast was very good."

"The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but we were a party of four and felt perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, definitely worth it. The location is another huge plus. It's within walking distance of Times Square, the Empire State Building, and Rockefeller Center. If you don't mind walking a little farther, you can even make it to Hudson Yards. The staff was incredibly friendly,...

"The open area on the 22nd floor was very cool and hotel was clean and tidy"

"On the positive side, this smaller hotel is in a great location, with easy access to/from Penn Station, Port Authority, the High Line and the theater district, with scads of restaurants in walking distance. It's cute without being twee (with the possible exception of the dog stuffie on the bed). Staff were welcoming. The rooms are small, but thoughtfully laid out and appointed so you don't feel cramped. Bed was comfy, and we like the 2-duvet solution to solve the frequent "You are stealing my...
