"A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found. The dining area overlooks a garden where goats may be seen. The restaurant's food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. The menu is not exhaustive but you won't be disappointed. Staff are very friendly and eager to make your stay memorable. I will keep the Colby Hill Inn on my list of places to stay again. "

"While there is nothing fancy about this motel, it seems to be well run, and it met all my expectations for desired motel-room functions and comfort, including a refrigerator that is cold enough, a generous 4 pillows per bed, and a printed list of all the cable TV channels. The owner is responsive when help is needed, and the grounds are well maintained, including a back garden. The cost for a Friday in late June was considerably less than most other motels in the region, which were going for $450-$600/night. Located a few miles E of I91. "
