"What a wonderful spot the Shaker Bear Cottage is!! We were in New London for a Colby Sawyer college reunion, and this was the most perfect place to stay. Our hosts Tom and Kem are wonderful, and their cottage is so lovely—-spotless, well appointed with anything we would need (kitchen, bathrooms) and was tradition New England decor. We loved our visit!!!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights and we're very comfortable. The kitchen is set up for use, and it is less than 500 feet to a typical Vermont country store for provisions. Very clean and everything worked well. There are stairs to get to the rooms so if stairs are hard, look closely at the picture. A great big living room and dining table. Be aware that there is only one bathroom, it wasn't a problem for us, but with the max number of people it might be. Nice place, good location, good manager."

"You need carpeting upstairs- the amount of stomping around at 530am over the weekend was frustrating. I also understand not serving food right now- however to expect guests to not eat in the comfort of their own rooms and expecting them to eat out in a common area but not serving food is a little hypocritical to be honest. The facility was nice, i liked being able to come and go as i pleased. "
