"We had a nice stay in this beautiful cabin. The hosts were extremely receptive and responded to all my questions. The house was beautiful and they left us some treats in the fridge! Thank you!! We brought our dogs so we were looking for a private place where we could let them off leash and not bother anyone else! It was nice to have access to the lake! We brought our tubes down and the dogs and jumped off the dock. I do wish we had a beach area but that’s ok! It was clearly stated we had a dock! Not much to do around the Deering area but if you’re looking for quiet and private this is your place! The house is absolutely beautiful! We loved the screened in porch and had a fire in the evenings around the firepit! It was a great opportunity to escape the grind and relax with my family! A plus I got to include our dogs! "

"I was delightfully surprised at how lovely the rooms were when we opened the door. From the outside, it looked like a well kept old style motel but the rooms were definitely modern, spacious, and very well cared for - not dated at all! The extra bonus of an outdoor picnic area was a pleasant discovery, as well."

"Here to visit family, and they told me my parents had stayed at this property when they visited over 40 years ago! It's a vintage motor court, but nicely maintained. The room is up to date and comfortable. The bathroom still has a 70s tub and sink, but clean and functional. One quirk: the sink was mounted very low, about thigh level on me. Had to bend low to wash my face! Overall a satisfactory stay."

"Wonderful and engaged staff. We were given a tour of the inn and brought to our room. Room was well appointed with many period pieces. The bed, pillows and linens were scrumptious! Great bath amenities. Grazing was lovely and overlooked the beautiful gardens. Pretty out door seating area and pool too. Breakfast was one of the most delicious breakfasts I've eaten at am inn. Perfect service, food and presentation. A very lovely and quiet stay. Next time we're making reservations for dinner. Very sad we missed it this time around. Highly recommend!"

"I’ve gone back and forth on how to rate our stay here. The location was amazing, parking and check in were easy, and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. That said, the property had some cleanliness issues. Particularly in the kitchen, where we found very dirty cabinets and dishes. There is also no lack of decorative items in already small home. For families with young kids, note that the water heater is an RV sized water heater, which made getting our young kids cleaned up with enough hot water left for us to shower difficult. You should be prepared to take very quick showers if coming with more than a couple people. Overall, we appreciate the hosts responsiveness and the location but would probably not stay here again. "
