"Lovely hotel, nice rooms, great staff. They have a social hour at 4pm everyday in the cafe with beer and wine. Breakfast was excellent and they have a bar that does great cocktails."

"Having stayed in several Doubletree hotels,this one was no exception in that,from the start,we were made to feel welcome Always greeted with a smile and there were 3 girls in particular who would serve us a coffee or a drink in the smaller bar after dinner who were especially kind. I know one was called Nadia and the other one was still at college but keen to get into hospitality and open her own bar one day .The third was a lovely small girl of chinese descent i think. Really the kind of people you want to see at front of house when you come in from the rain. All in all a wonderful city well worth a visit. "
