"The Saracens Head was a lovley place to stay in. We had a fabulous view over looking the river and the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and we had breakfast and also our evening dinner/meal there. We couldnt fault it in any way. It was the perfect location for what we wanted and if we ever visit Symands Yacht again we will be more than happy to go back "

"I have stayed at the Royal Hotel for 3 consecutive years whilst visiting a friend. As a solo traveller I find it so comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful that I would not stay anywhere else in Ross on Wye. Good value, excellent food and very clean and comfortable rooms."

"We loved everything about our stay. The house is 16th century, tastefully renovated and full of interest and character, in a quiet, rural location. The bedroom was fully equipped with everything we needed, a lovely freestanding bath, great shower and super comfortable bedding. Sheila and Guy were fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and locally sourced and they also included lovely touches like home made cake in our room and fresh coffee sourced from their own family - with the option to try different brews! We honestly couldn't have asked for more - thank you for a brilliant stay, we will definitely be back :)"

"Fantastic place to stay, beautiful surroundings, easy to find and parking. Only point I would make that let it down slightly was the log burner was out of use which we didn't know, which was a shame as we were looking forward to this. Overall would definitely stay here again, thank you for a lovely time."
