"Had a great stay.. only complaint is shower was slow to drain and shower head needs replacement."

"Several of us have stayed in Luling for over three years as we search for Missing Person Jason Landry. The staff at Best Western are always kind and accomodating. We love the facilities as well. Getting two free drinks and chips and salsa are a nice bonus each evening."

"The shower head was disgusting. Hadn’t been cleaned in years. It was covered in green gunk. There were used wash cloths hanging on the rusty shower curtain pole. The walls were covered re thin and all we could hear was crying and screaming children. There were blackout curtains but the lights on the building were so bright that when I woke up in the middle of the night I thought it was morning. "

"The hotel was a gorgeous little piece of history. With historic buildings of course there can sometimes come issues, but when our faucet broke at 11pm on a Friday night the manager was incredibly prompt to respond, send a repairman who also showed up very quickly, and then swapped our rooms when the problem was not easily resolved. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and we will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again. "

"No complaints about the hotel it self however, I do have a complaint about multiple people include workers drinking beer by their trucks that were parked in Handicap parking spaces that did have permits or license plates to do so forcing me to park at the end of the parking lot. "

"The staff were friendly and polite, which we appreciated. Unfortunately the room itself had several problems. The toilet would not flush properly, the air conditioner rattled loudly all night, and the microwave sounded like it was malfunctioning and wouldn’t even warm coffee. The bathroom door was extremely heavy and difficult to open, and there were very few outlets in the room. There was also a noticeable stain on the bedding. Overall the room needs significant maintenance and updating."

"Cockroaches in the bathroom at the hotel.. Told staff they said ahh we’ll get it cleaned up however they were everywhere around the hotel as well.. was gross.. shower curtain was ripped off the wall and was falling down so couldn’t take a shower or anything.. "

"When booking my stay I filtered by pet friendly, price to make my choice however when I checked in the staff informed me they do not accept pets and did not care what the website showed. He said animals make the room smell however based on the other reviews, the rooms smelled anyway. We were rejected from our stay and left at a loss. "
