"A dream stay. Lovely cottage on a working farm just a few minutes drive from Castle Combe and Chippenham. The hosts were lovely, the cottage was warm and homely with an amazing log burning fire. Each morning, a freshly cooked breakfast is brought to your door at a time of your choosing. Would highly reccommend to all."

"Lucy the owner was fantastic all the way through the booking, pre-arrival and post-arrival processes. The property is so unique and absolutely huge, so easily accommodated our family of 13 people. It is a working farm and you live next to cows and tractors, but it all adds to the rural experience and one we'd definitely all recommend"

"Loved the farmhouse, its location, the views, beautiful garden, the peace & quiet. A welcoming homely atmosphere, well-equipped, with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults and one baby. "Lower Elmore's is a lovely house with everything you could need and bags of space. We rented the property as a group of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids) and hugely enjoyed it. It's remote location does mean you have to navigate single track narrow roads to go anywhere - this wasn't a problem for us but may not be to everyone's comfort."

This was an ideal location and the many rooms/bed options made it easy to accommodate everyone. Close to local shops and pubs made it easy to grab essentials and plan meals out. "We had 4 nights in October and couldn’t have wished for a better time. House is well equipped, spacious yet feels so cosy and homely. Lovely log fire and the views from windows were beautiful....fields and horses. Spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. I’m sure we’ll be back. "Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...
