"The hotel is in a great area but it was ok as far as cleanliness. My shower had someone else's hair in it which is a turn off. Other than that, the room was fine. "

"An old motel that has not been updated, or even well kept. We sensed that it may also be a "welfare" hotel. We booked it because it had good ratings, but in our opinion, those ratings were inflated. Right at the airport, but not noisy. Easy parking and pets stay free."

Only half a roll of TP and no extra roll in room. Batteries dead in one of remotes. Ended up using my own Also, only 2 tissues left. Left hanger on my door ar 6am for housekeeping to replinish tp and tissues, and coffee. Back to room at 12am and nothing. Hanger still on door. I read somewhere housekeepimg wbery 3rd day. I only stayed 2 but they should have seen thr amonites requeat on door. And honestly i dont think ive ever stayed in a hotel without an extra roll in the room Breakfast was okay bit no clean tables amd trash over flowing, and no juice cups. Hot tub workong, but no towels at pool. (Of.course bc ots the one tome i didnt bring my own towel). Front desk staff friendly. Hopimg most of this was a one off, and will stay again next time up in Richmond to attend my meeting, but if sme issies persist will habe to find a different place for future"

"Might’ve just been a bad weekend. There was a soccer tournament was happening and the hotel was filled with players and their families. They wanted to play and knock and run from our door. We tried to get fresh towels from housekeeping as we came back for an outing but perhaps there was a language barrier because we got nothing and we would’ve been next. I guess the room must be empty to get it serviced. The space sufficient. No bells or whistles. No pool. Breakfast was ok. There was a nice variety each day."

"This property looked and felt tired. Kind of like a hotel that wants to be a luxury hotel ... but hasn't figured it out or shared that with their employees. The bathroom was dirty with scuff marks on the door and shower and literal dirt in the corners. Peeling wallpaper. The bed's top sheet had a foot-long tear right at the top. That was fun. Housekeeping was hit or miss. We finally had to ask for our room to be serviced. And they were the stingiest hotel I've ever seen for leaving towels and washcloths. One per guest, which is problematic if you spend the day sweaty outdoors and want to refresh before dinner. (I will not re-use a washcloth.) Plus, there was very little place to put your clothes. My wife and I were there for a week and there weren't enough hangers for even her clothes. I had to spread my shirts out of the couch. Plus, there was no bureau or chest of drawers to put your other clothes in so we had stuff in our suitcases all week. There was a neat electric tea pot in the room ... but not once during the week did they leave any cups. They have a rec area with a pool table but ... and this is kind of indicative of the rest of the property ... the table felt was coming loose and the three cues were useless: two didn't have tips and the remaining cue was split in the shaft. Do you need a pool table at a hotel? No. Not at all. But if they do offer one, it should at least be in decent shape. Bottom line: There are definitely cleaner, more modern hotel in RVA. "
