The Ali Pasha Bridge is located near the beautiful town of Gjirokastra in Albania. You can easily hike there within 30 minutes and you can be pretty sure not to meet any other tourists.
The bridge was part of a larger aqueduct complex commissiones in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelenë. Tje aqueducts fed the castle's cisterns with water from the Mount Sopot. Gjirokastra didn't have water at this time and Alia Pasha discerned the need of this structure.
The aqueduct was mostly destroyed in 1932, but this section remains.

"The view from this apartment is fantastic, and the underground parking great. Within walking distance from a range of grocery stores and restaurants. The functionality of the "kitchen", however, was very limited as there were no bowls, knives or teaspoons. A drying rack for towels or swimwear would also be a good to have."

"This apartment is a great size for a couple or even a family of 4! Our bed was was on a separate level which we loved and we had our own patio space! The grocery store is no more then a 5 minute walk and the main strip was no more then a 20 minute walk! "

"We book the apartment for our stay and it was the best option, there is privacy in between the apartments so it was very comfortable for us. Only downside I can remember is that the pool closes at 7pm, and we didn’t have access to the infinity pool on the rooftop and just find out this when we arrived. "

"What’s great: Excellent location – everything is close and walkable Ideal for exploring Corfu Town on foot Rooms are clean and comfortable Cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby Heads-up: 🚫 No parking available (not even street parking nearby) If you're renting a car, you’ll need to park farther out and walk in Verdict: Perfect for travelers without a car or those who don’t mind a short walk from public parking. "We were there for 8 days. The hotel was new and clean. The staff were freindly and helpful. It is an easy 20min walk to the promenade with excellent resturants and shops along the way. The one suprise was that it is not actually a beach-front hotel and doesn't own any umbrellas. The beach is a 5min walk away with umbrellas owned by two different hotels. You can rent the umbrellas for the day for €10-€15, cash only. Overall, a lovely stay."
