"Dropped in for a weekend at the horseshoe, we ran into an issue with the TV which was promptly corrected which was great. We did arrive about 45 min early to check in, which they had available for a charge, which was disappointing it wasn't like it was hours early. The room was a room, nothing stood out as special, the windows opened which was nice to help with the humidity from the shower since the vent didn't expel the humidity quick. The one down fall we found was the very heavy "barn" style door to the bathroom. The tracks have not been cleaned in quite some time, the bearings were going out, the door was hard to move for a grown male. My wife struggled with it. Dining we would have liked some more desert options and even some quick breakfast options. However it wasn't the Monarch where the gnats were eating more than their share of the sweets in the display case that they were serving out of. Would we stay here again? We don't get out too often, so we would probably try other locations, nothing screamed must go back to the Horseshoe."

"Quartz Point Ranch provided exactly what we sought for a family holiday. We three 80-year-olds sought quiet, space, and fun. The owner clearly stated that the "lane" to the address was rough, which proved to be true, but don't let it daunt you. We heard no traffic noise--yes, not one motorcycle. We had pleasant views, roomy bedrooms, space and equipment for for cooking meals, room for a jigsaw puzzle to be one the table and a card game or two. Remember the altitude if yo ramble the property, but you will enjoy spotting resident squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits. A mule deer wandered through the scene, but we but missed moose or others likely to be around when you come. Three days of relaxation were hard to beat."
