"Claudette (and Amour) were excellent hosts. All logistical issues went very smoothly. We did not want a hotel-like experience since this was a family gathering and what we got was exactly what we wanted, a home away from home. Location is in Southampton near the Gibb lighthouse on the south end of the island. Know that you can’t rent a conventional auto, only scooters or little two seater vehicles. Taxi transportation can definitely get expensive since you are away from the main part of the island. That said, we got what we wanted. You can walk to the beach and there are walking paths nearby. Definitely download Hitch for Bermuda’s rideshare. There is a lovely yard with lounge chairs and a hammock. The two queen beds were very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Washer and dryer are in process of being hooked up but Claudette offered to do wash for us. Took a couple of days to figure out how to get water in shower but it was there once we were instructed how to get. Everything was super clean. If i was writing a title or headline, it would read “Our Bermuda home away from home.” Thank you, Claudette."

"Our stay at Gemstones was wonderful! Lorna and her husband were fantastic hosts. Lorna was there to greet us on our first day, and gave us all the details about the property we were staying at. She also told us about things to do during our stay, like Harbor Night in Hamilton on Wednesday evening. The private beach was gorgeous and so conveniently close. Thank you, Lorna, for an incredible vacation!"

"The perfect villa in paradise. The photos do not do this spatial home justice. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all that is needed. The pool easily accommodates a large family with many available pool floats and noodles. And the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and private bathrooms.Jess, Urne, and Tiara were wonderful to work with before and during the trip. We used Crown Point Concierge for pick up and grocery put-away on arrival days and the app DropIt for other grocery needs throughout our week’s stay.Jess suggested Keeivan for car service and his transportation services were on time with all polite and friendly drivers. On spur of the moment trips, the app Hitch worked super well.The views from this home cannot be adequately captured by photos. Our family enjoyed many hours relaxing on the huge, shaded deck that overlooks the beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach.We so enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental property without reservation."

"Hi, I loved the access to a dock for swimming, it was amazing. The view from the porch is nice. It has convenient access to the Railroad Trails. The host was very attentive and responsive. We had plenty of clean linens, and all services were good."
