"The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. We were able to check in early with no issue. The room was spacious and clean and I love that the hotel offers cruelty-free bathroom products. Even though we didn't have a chance to use it since we were only one night, we LOVED having a DVD/VCR in our room with the giant selection of DVDs and VCR tapes in the lobby to select from. What a fun treat! The hotel is very close to many tourist attractions in Boston. We will definitely stay again. "

"The rooms were nicely sized and contained a large TV and nicely appointed bathrooms. The restaurant is convenient and the service at that restaurant (Yard House) had excellent service and good food. Location is great - at the center of the city and close to the Commons. Air Conditioning worked well. The negatives are not significant but here they are. First, the staff does not answer phones at front desk - it is a recording that has robochat. Not good. An obvious cost-saving measure that compromises the needs of the customer. They advertised having WiFi but, during the first day of our stay, I learned that they charged $12 or $15 per night for WiFi, which is unusual. That should be a basic. Valet Parking is not good. They are poorly organized and do not clarify where the pickup is as opposed to where the office is. And - again - no live person answering phones, instead opting to save costs by using a voice mail with robochat."

"Room was adequately sized for a short stay and was serviced very well each day. The bars were very good however not open all day. Drinks prices were comparable with local bars. Didn’t use the restaurant. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Overall a very good 4 star hotel in an excellent location."

"A fantastic classy hotel right in the middle of everything in the centre of downtown Boston which was ideal as we were visiting for the World cup Friendly welcome and we managed to get an early check in which was nice. Lovely, quiet comfortable large room. Great staff who genuinely worked hard to make our stay special with special mention to Ed the doorman who is a great character who helped us with recommendations and made us smile. Badr the bellman was another who stood out with his friendly welcoming manner. We had a tasty meal in the restaurant one evening and the coffee shop served great coffee and breakfast snacks. Overall an amazing short stay in The Dagny."

"Our room was clean and bigger than the ones in NY and DC and for less. We didn't have much contact with the staff as we were always on the go. We had a clean room and fresh towels. We walked everywhere we wanted and used Uber twice. Great location, maybe not the best for where we wanted to go, but that had zero impact on anything! I think the closer to the Center was a lot more expensive. I would 100% stay here again. Clean and safe, slept well!"
