"Fabulous adults only hotel. Super friendly with a green eco approach with cleaning the rooms, towels etc. We enjoyed buffet breakfast style restaurant with menu options too. The Michelin restaurant Desarma was the best experience, we added the wine flight to complete a special Birthday for my partner. It was a tad Nicer than The William restaurant at the Belmond Hotel. My score 4 stars for cleaning only because the windows were bit dirty and the floor around the windows where the tables are was quite dusty. Easy to walk down to town although up hill coming back, but do able. Taxis plentiful everywhere."

"This is my second stay in this hotel. Nice hotel, not to far to walk to central Funchal. Nice, clean rooms. Good breakfast, nice pool and & spa area. Will stay again!"

"The property was in a very convenient location to get to restaurants in the town, and to attractions in the area. Breakfast buffet was great. The weather wasn’t very cooperative, so we did not have a chance to enjoy the pool. Air conditioning didn’t work well. "

"Perfectly located for our first visit to Funchal. We definitely will comeback to this property. Front staff, particulary Luis,was warm, friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. Roof deck and poo; was added treat."

"The staff were all wonderful. Breakfast and Dinner buffets were also great. Hotel was nicely appointed. The garage parking was tight but great. No need to drive around and try to find parking and pay. Would definitely recommend this hotel"
